Revealed Mystery

The "Mystery" that was hid in God, and has been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets , is of the upper most importance, when it comes to our walks as Christians.

It states in Romans chapter 16 and in verses 25 & 26

25) "Now to him that is of power to stablish you acording to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the "mystery" , which was kept6 secret since the world began,

26) "But is now made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets , according to the commanment of the everlasting God , made known to all nations for the obedience of faith :"

These verses are telling us that the gospel of Paul (my gospel) according to the preaching of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God (not four gospels) "according" to the revelation (revealing) of the "mystery".

The word "gospel" means good news, and Paul was saying that he had some good news about Jesus Christ, according to what Paul was going to preach, about Jesus Christ, "according" to the revealed "mystery". And this "knowledge" of the revealed "mystery", was to be revealed unto all nations, and was to be "for" the obedience of faith.

"Obedience of faith" , means, - Our walks according to our believing action.

This is why the knowledge of the revealed "mystery" is so important. This knowledge, which is revealed throughout the seven church epistles. Is the "how" in our walks of faith, as Christians.

Ephesians 3:5 - "Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit"

One of the reasons that the revealed Mystery was kept secret, was because of what it says in I Corinthians 2:8 - "Which none of the princes of the world knew: for had they known it , they would not have crucified the Lord of glory"

The reason he would not have crucified the Lord of glory , is because of the wisdom in this "knowledge" of the revealed Mystery. The Lord of glory would not have been crucified, if this Mystery was not kept hidden.

In verse 7 of I Corinth. it says >

7) - "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom , which God ordained before the world unto our glory"

This hidden wisdom works against the adversary , because this wisdom reveals the true God , and his purposes. Thus he is unable to deceive those who hold too this wisdom of the revealed Mystery.
