At about 2 am last night I happened to catch a show called The AntiChrist on the History Channel. Very scary. I couldnt go to sleep without the TV on. It explained a lot of stuff from Revalations, Jesus, and the AntiChrist. I guess it says in the book of revalations one day a political figure will one day be president of the whole world. Languages, communities, everything. The man will also talk about bible scriptures. He will bring peace. But alas, the man is the AntiChrist. For about 7 years the whole world will be under the control of the AntiChirst. The man (AntiChrist) will slaughter millions. More horrific than the Halocaust. People will have 666 either on their forhead or hands. And after the 7 years, Jesus will appear and defeat the AntiChirst thus leading the world into a 1000 Godly years. Through this the Jews will finally take Jesus into their heart and this makes the AntiChrist very angry and he begins killing so many Jews. When Jesus comes the Jews will finally see that he is and was the Mesiah and they will accept him. It also said that if your heart is truley devoted to Jesus you will dissapear not die, through these bad times to meet up with God in the clouds. Im not sure how that works but I hope it does. It really got me thinking and scared. It talked about buying and selling with the beasts number, 666 about it being on barcodes, and I started looking on barcodes on some things in my house and I saw three 6s on a lot of them. Apparently you cannot buy, sell, or get a job without that number on something. Its in my social security number and it freaks me out. Can anyone make sense of this to me?

My understanding is: In the last days the Beast (Antichrist) will control the finacial systems of the world. At the 3 1/2 years mark of the Tribulation the Beast will declare himself god and demand everyone worship him and recieve his mark in their right hands or foreheads. This mark could take any number of forms. It could be a microchip, or a barcode tattoo, or something else. Not being able to buy or sell without it means that the mark will probably take the place of money. Without it you can't buy or sell anything.

The fact that 666 is in your social security number is nothing to be worried about. The number 666 itself is not evil, it's just a number. It's the Antichrist who'll be evil.

Don't worry about it... Unfortunately many people still haven't grasped the fact that they're trying to interpret 1st century writings with 20th century ideas...

'the antichrist' in revelation is Caesar Nero... and babylon etc is a substitute for Rome...

This business about the number 666 being on barcodes is rubbish and based on a misunderstanding of bar codes - and on the number 666.

A quick explanantion, but I'll go into more detail if you wish.

If you look at a typical bar code on a product (and I'm assuming the format is the same in USA as in UK - and I think it is) you will notice that there are three sets of stripes (black, white, black) at the beginning, end and middle of the sequence, and these protrude below the rest of the bars. These are called guard bars and enable the scanner to detect the start, middle and end of the actual bar code. Now superficially these are similar to the sequence of bars for the digit 6. Hence with three of them you get 666 on every bar code. But they are not the digit 6, they are just guard bars

The second point is that a bar code is not a number, it is a sequence of digits, a pattern if you will. The number of the beast is six hundred and sixty six (I was checking this on another thread) - written as 666 in the decimal system. But it is a number, not a sequence of digits.

Take no notice of this sort of rubbish.

This thread shows the history, some of it, of the revealing of the antichrist.
The antichrist is very active today, 2006, and loves the distractions that keep
people from recognising his work which fills society and churches and governments
as the fullfillment of Yhwh's Word is coming to pass.

The point is not to be afraid, except as Hebrews says to be afraid of neglecting so
great a salvation. Yhwh through Yeshua has defeated the enemy, so those who

The beast is the most horrible creature known to man. It is our carnal nature. The number 666 is a Biblical spiritual number which is symbolic of the fullness of man. By the way the Book of Mormon does not have spiritual numbers because it is not Devine.

Jesus gives us "perfect wholeness" when we come to where He is. He gives us a sound mind (the mind of Christ!) and a sound, loving heart that loves with His Love. This is a gift. Remember the alabaster box that the woman brought full of precious spikenard to anoint Jesus for burial? Judas rebuked her for spending all that money. He called it a waste and said it could have been sold for more than 300 pence. It was the price of "perfect wholeness."
There is another 300 in Noah’s Ark. The dimensions of the ark were 300x50x30 and that means complete deliverance for the mature. 30 is the number that signifies maturity. If you recall, Jesus could not minister as a priest until He was 30. That is the age of maturity, of eligibility to the priesthood. So — He gave to his Benjamin Company 300 pieces of silver — complete deliverance for the mature.

In King Solomn’s record there is another interesting 300. He had 300 shields, which is complete deliverance from war — complete deliverance from the war that rages within us — flesh against spirit, spirit against the flesh; the carnal mind against the spiritual mind. He gives us complete deliverance from war!
When the second generation was preparing to go into the Promised Land, Joshua said that they had to remain in the wilderness until — was it until all the older, faithless generation had died? I used to think it said that. But it doesn’t. It says, "when all the men of war have died." Have you been a man of war? If so, that man of war must die before you can possess this new realm of spirit. You can’t take him in with you!
Another well-known "300" was Gideon’s small remnant army which brought complete deliverance for the whole nation! Benjamin is given the inheritance of the heathen because Joseph is in the midst and rules over all that sense realm.
To his father was sent "ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way." All of these: corn — the Word; bread — the Bread of Life; meat — the strong meat of the Word, did Joseph give unto his family to strengthen them to rise into a new place in Godwhere they would be able to behold the face of their Joseph, and beholding Him, be changed into His likeness. O, glory to God!

Many brother’s in the Lord try to spiritualize one part of Revelations, and then they will literalize another section when it fits their understanding; I see it totally as a spiritual book even when I am unsure of some of its meaning. God is not the author of fear.

I look at the Book of Revelations is the most spiritual book in the Bible and all the hidden symbolisms are hidden though out the Bible. Book of Revelations is the Revelation’s of Jesus Christ with in us; not without. Yes there is a literal word that is written; but the message is deep and it is spiritual. Each one of the seven Churches speak of a literal local body; but there is a great and hidden symbolism for us today.

Revelations and Genesis are so pregnant with hidden mysteries it will totally bring you face to face with God’s GLORY and his plan for all mankind. Genesis is the foundation; where Revelation is the conclusion. God’s conclusions are always spiritual; just like His seconds are always more glorious and spiritual compared to His first.

1 Corin 10:10 ​

Revelations 1:1​

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:​

This one little word is so reverent to the whole book Revelations; ‘signified” or signs and symbols. The Book Revelations can only be understood not as a book of prophecy, or literally; but as a very deep and awesome spiritual book by using signs and symbols that can only be found in the Bible.

I truly believe God’s Word is hidden for many reasons; that is why there are so many creed, religion and understandings in the Bible. If it were possible I believe if man could put the understandings in full understanding of the Book of Revelations in writing it would fill a library. When I see a symbol and apply to Revelations it needs to be used over and over again thought out the Bible; the lampstand is one small example:
The lampstand was a piece of furniture that was in the Tabernacle in the wilderness as well as both temples. Like all the furniture in the temple there was always a much deeper and awesome meaning. I am just going to touch on a few thought I thought were interesting. So often God hides his glory from carnal man by types, shadows, parables, mysteries and hidden manna.

Lamp stand was made by beaten gold; that is the craftsman would literally beat the gold to desired shape. It takes heat and fire to purify many different precious metals; gold (Devine life); silver (redemption); brass (judgment); iron (will) and many other precious stones that are found in our earth; One Biblical exception is a pearl; the only jewel that comes from life.

1 Corinthians 3:15 ​

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall ​

suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. ​

The lamp had seven staffs attached to one staff; symbolic of seven spirits of God in Isaiah 11:2; but one God. Isaiah 11:2. Fire comes from the Greek word “pur” which we get our English word pure, purify, purge and purgatory and is symbolic of the purging power of Holy Spirit.

Everyday the priest would have to immerse the lamp in olive oil (symbolic of God’s anointing) and light the lamp with fire.

Then the light was placed in the Holy Place for light. The first court or the outer court had no lamp but was lit by the sun by day; but at night there was no lamp. The Holy of Holies also had no lamp either; for God’s Glory would be all the light it needed on the day of atonement.

Revelation is definitely the hardest book in the bible to understand What many people fail to realize is that, many of the verses have a double meaning, one for that period of time it was written, and one for the present days, or for the people living in those last days before Jesus Comes (which I believe is us) As for God being the "author of fear" he's not trying to scare us, but one day God will bring judgment on this world, but because of that the "elect" or us Christians will be saved. A good book to get is Jerusalem countdown, but never let this anti-christ stuff scare you, because if you are God's he will never let this happen to you, but one day very soon, there will be horrible Judgments to this earth, and this guy or girl will rise up, and rule it, A.K.A the devil for 7 years, the mark of the beast is a double meaninng as they said for Caesar, but also for the Christians of today, Caesar never made them get some marl on them, if they read history. Anyways get that book, and never be scared for God holds you in his arms, and the Bible says we must be looking for him, and people come up with all this "it's not gonna happen" stuff, because they think that if they don't think about it, then it won't become true.
