Jessica, how is this article humerous?

I've just discovered why I am the way I am, and why I'm able to talk with gifted people so well and relate to them so well, even though I myself am not gifted...

I've also realised that both my mum and my dad and brother are Extrovert and I'm an Introvert. My parents and my bro turn red when they drink a bit of alcohol whilst I remain white...

U recon thats a good test for testing Extroverts to Introverts?

I'll send the article to an orchid grower and see what he thinks of it...

you don't sound like an introvert, Jim! :D

did you read through the whole article? quite insightful.
well, it's funny in a way because of how true it is, :) but then, also because it says:

"Don't you know that four fifths of all our troubles in this life would disappear if we would just sit down and keep still?"

i keep getting this picture of people sitting STILL and doing nothing while a butterfly flies above.. um.. listen to the wind.. it's sooo peaceful. *fall asleep*

well, I think the problem is the "sound"

lol...

Most of my actions have reasoning stuck to it to be more responsible...but I never knew this was part of being who I am....

The forums bring out whats in me, because I have the time to bring it out. Likewise most people who are extroverts, would much rather bring the whole crowd for a massive chat session....

yep..the problem with that is nothing will move forward...which is just the way I like it.

I would like to help people move furniture, but when my parents shout at me to do it... I just can't be bothered.

No no...we keep thinking ...always!
My friends often say that I think too much....and they only know this if they know me well....

One thing though, that strikes me most, is how extroverts love meeting people and more friends...I hate that....I would like to stick with what I have and do the job as it is....

I'm wondering whether people are ok with my Critical views?

I personally think that Critical views are good in a way, it brings up discussion and pulls up more thinking and work towards the truth or at least a new opinion.

I know there are people that don't agree with my critical views, because all they want is everyone agreeing with them, without respect to those that have difference in opinion.

But I know there are some people who can't critisms, which is fine...just let me know if I'm going too far into it that it hurts your personal feelings.

Crititsm is good - if everyoine just agreed with each other, what a boring world!

Hmmm.....interesting. But can you distinguish an introvert without someone telling you that they're an introvert?

can someone tell whether someone is an introvert? for people who think they are but do not seem to be outwardly, no...
I don't think being outwardly is a good test to test whether a person is an introvert. I had to develop social skills with my bear hands, contineously reflecting everynight what I did right and what I did wrong, what was good, re-enact it....

For a lot of people, they learn these things like a click of a switch, which has always been a surprise to me how they learn these things so naievely.

As for determining whether a person is an introvert, I've always refered to friends that were introverts as [can't tell you...]

I always knew that the outside never understood the introverts...

Now that things are starting to make sense,I'm going to start an awareness for introverts...but then again...it's too much of a hassel and it doesn't prove much point. Much rather work for the Truth!!!:priest:

An awareness for introverts Jim? You know ... I don't really know if I know an introvert. Everyone here just seems the same! And, I don't really think you are an introvert. You don't sound like one at all. Where did you get the idea from that you are an introvert?
When I read the webpage, I realised how a lot of the things I suffer from esspecially when talkign with extroverts that it really does suck the most out of you. And I often need to sit down and recharge.

The extrovert recharge by letting everything out without consideration that people don't want to hear it. For other extroverts, thats ok as long as they get their turn...but they usually find it easier to do it on introverts because we're the ones always listening.

Theres a couple of extreme extroverts that somehow want me to be their best friend, though I dislike it,...I tried hard but..yeh, it's hard for me to like them except the fact their my brothers and sisters in Christ.

But it all makes sense at why some people can go out at night and meet heaps of people...when I personally am uncapable at doing that. I find it hard to meet people....

But don't worry bev...I'm not that much different, I've just learnt to adapt over my time in life....lol....

It is said that extroverts can't understand introverts, but introverts can understand extroverts inside out easily.....hmmmm.......
