• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Struggling really badly. Not sure what steps to take next and little scared about that. Don't want to overreact but my depression is increasing. Have moments where I dissociate a little. Have those "bad" thoughts coming from time to time (you know what I mean).

Please pray for wisdom and guidance. Pray for healing and rest. Man this totally stinks.

Fathe rGod, I lift my friend into your loving arms and ask that you watch over her during this time. Remind her to turn your fears over to you. Lord, pour out your Holy SPirit to give her wisdom about what is happening and what she needs to do to help at this time. Wrap your arms around her and let her feel your love in a special way during this time. Grant her rest and restoration and return her to a level place quickly. Lord, keep her safe during this time!!!

Lord I ask that you would keep your daughter safe from harm. Father you said that you are the lifter of our heads. Father I pray that you will lift your daughter and raise her up to be happy and joyful and steadfast. Lord I pray that you will encamp your angels around her and I pray that your presence will saturate her is such a divine way that she will not feel depression, but hope in you. Thank you Lord that you watch over your children. amen.

Thank you for your prayers my friends. YOu know it was weird, I went to work yes work on Sat, but it was almost empty and I had 4 hours of peace and quiet. I listened to Christian music and felt at peace. It seemed to come out of no where. But in reflecting on these posts we know where it came from don't we?
