CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I could really use a repping. I don't think I am over stressed, but I am not sleeping. The work volume has greatly increased, I have so much to do to get ready before my job ends.....making sure my licenses are in good order, posting my resume all over the place, trying to get in touch with friends working in banks and insurance companies. My sister keeps telling me to exercise.....but I don't have the time..... I feel like my life is in race mode......will I get things done in time......

I'm repped out and won't recharge for a little while, but I'll be back with some reppers soon. I understand how you feel, Rosey. I'm so stressed at this point that some days I can hardly get ANYTHING done except stress out/feel panicky, etc. My husband is retiring from his job on March 1 and I'm soooo happy for him (and me), but feeling that I have to get soooo many things done before then. I had to research and read, read, explore health insurance for me (too young for medicare, too old for it to be easy), dealing with getting banking business in place for the retirement, dealing with our ill grandchild, concern over our military son going back to the war AGAIN, trying to help my daughter who has ADD get her life on track, and on and on. I do take a lot of comfort from checking in here everyday and knowing that whether we say so or not, the folks here are whispering prayers for each other every day. All of you on this thread have been a real blessing and joy to me.
I'm thankful. Please know you're in my prayers.
