Doing pretty good now.
We have to put a new roof on the house as one of our trees had a limb fall off and it put a hole in the roof. Not that the roof hasn't needed it anyway, but other things always seemed to take priority, and our money only goes so far.I'd love to win the lottery some day (guess I gotta play to win, though.
)
So we were out to the roofing supply store looking at shingles. We will likely go with blue since we have blue shutters. Make the house pop! LOL.
How's your day been?
Yeah! i can't belive that this is the 18th thread. WooHoo!I posted this in another thread but thought it might be interesting for those newer to this SubForum. The original thread I started on October 6th is now 18 treads old.

Thanks so much -- I love the theme idea too.
I'll be reviewing my pictures and posting in the new thread.
You sound just like me Dawn. For as long as I can remember (going on 40 years I'm guessing) my dad has complained about people throwing their hard earned money away on lottery tickets. As a result, I've never bought a single ticket - because if by some fluke of the imagination I won I wouldn't be able to tell anyone for fear my dad would find out. Even if I won I can still mentally visualize him saying "I can't believe you wasted your money on a lottery ticket."

good to know I'm not the only one having 'house issues'![]()
I've gotta get a plumber and contractor out to cut up my kitchen ceiling to figure out what's going on with my plumbing for my upstairs bathroom. Gotta borrow money from the folks to do it, but the problems gotta be fixed.
It's fun, when things go wrong with our houses, huh?! But, I thank my blessings that I'm not in this forclosure fiasco.![]()
That's another grand that I hadn't planned on.
When it rains, it pours.We just got home from Home Depot to find our fridge on the fritz.

What upsets me about the fridge is that it is only a couple of years old. It should last longer than this.
It was a blessing my dd wasn't hurt while she was taking a shower.....of course, her playing with the blinds didn't help much!
