I can relate to the blinds part...
our bathroom window actually faces the road

adn yup...blinds fell down

I made do with some walmart cheapie 4.00 blinds...but man...dont' shower after dark!

Yeah, well fortunately, I have a two story so the bathroom is just facing a wall and roof. But the widow to the shower is HUGE, so I'm sure if someone really wanted to snoop and look in they could figure it out.....but I'm not going to worry about it, because this is the 1st time in 4 years that we've used this shower.

I'm just more stressing about all the money it's going to cost to fix the 'plumbing issue' in my kitchen ceiling, because they have to cut into the ceiling to figure out what's going on.

Doing pretty good now.

We have to put a new roof on the house as one of our trees had a limb fall off and it put a hole in the roof. Not that the roof hasn't needed it anyway, but other things always seemed to take priority, and our money only goes so far. I'd love to win the lottery some day (guess I gotta play to win, though. )

So we were out to the roofing supply store looking at shingles. We will likely go with blue since we have blue shutters. Make the house pop! LOL.

When Erwin instituted the 7-7-7 reforms I had been here 4 years and had about 50,000 rep points (earned in the no begging era). My tirade against the reforms boosted my reps 70,000 points and got me a 1 day e-Ban from Erwin (which he reversed).

When the Conservative Christian Forum was started I picked up more reps and Green Munchkin noted how fast I was gaining rep points. That peaked my interest and I went over to the Blessing Exchange (which I had not visited much if at all prior to this). I figured if it the rule against rep begging was gone, I'd make it an art!

So, on October 6th (2007) I posted this:

Hi, I'm drstevej and I am a repaholic. I know I am not alone here and am not sure I am ready to rep-ent.

But maybe if we can gather here to rep each other we won't be found in out of the way fora begging reps from shady characters or repping folks we don't know just to see if they will rep back.

So share your story and some reps with those who share our rep-jones.

I always wondered, Pr. Steve, who was behind that rule change. It was you!

Right now I'm trying to get the way the forum gives our reps changed. Instead of having each rep chained to a 24-hour clock, I am asking that all 20 or 40 reps be given once a day, to be used anytime we want during that day.

good to know I'm not the only one having 'house issues'

I've gotta get a plumber and contractor out to cut up my kitchen ceiling to figure out what's going on with my plumbing for my upstairs bathroom. Gotta borrow money from the folks to do it, but the problems gotta be fixed.

It's fun, when things go wrong with our houses, huh?! But, I thank my blessings that I'm not in this forclosure fiasco.
