She's just a town's woman extra. The costume is one of those "authentic" patterns you could use at a Renaissance festival.
The chemise/undergarment is similar to this (only with a ruffle at the bottom and the elastic (which is not authentic) is above and below the elbow, not at the wrist.

The overskirt is like the overskirt in these pictures, made out of black brocade with red/blue/tan/green flowers.

She has a black and blue corset already. We tried to match the brocade material for the skirt with the corset.
Very cool, thanks for the links! My next project is a costume for a "Russian Doll". Cossack pants, shirt, sash (possibly a vest) and BOOTS that would fit over ballet slippers (with elastic underneath to hold them on). I'm glad my mom is coming down here next week to help!
