CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

She's just a town's woman extra. The costume is one of those "authentic" patterns you could use at a Renaissance festival.
The chemise/undergarment is similar to this (only with a ruffle at the bottom and the elastic (which is not authentic

The overskirt is like the overskirt in these pictures, made out of black brocade with red/blue/tan/green flowers.

She has a black and blue corset already. We tried to match the brocade material for the skirt with the corset.

My uncle died just over a week ago. I drove to Baltimore for the memorial service last week. He was suffering pretty badly from what my aunt says, so it is good he is no longer suffering, but I don't know if he was a believer, so I am concerned about what future he has.

Believe me, I sadly understand all too well.
My uncle had also been sick for a long time (side effects of diabetes) but we were still pretty shocked at how quickly it all happened. And I know he wasn't a believer, so I have to pray for God's mercy for him. 
I'll keep you, your uncle, and his family in my prayers.
