  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

disclaimer... again I have tried this method for YEARS now - just making uninspired, boxed, bagged, predigested & frozen foods to no avail.
Instead of inspiring him to cook, he just got complacent with what I made & said it was just great. (makes me wonder what his food tasted like as a cook years ago?):eek:

Any day someome offers to cook and someone else offers to clean up is a really good day.

:wave::wave: Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!!! Made breakfast (oatmeal and fruit) for the husband, fixed his lunch (complete with a big slice of that raspberry filled white chocolate cake I made), took the dog out, fed the dog and now I'm pooped. I did get a pretty Valentine's Card from my sweetie. I always make homemade valentine's cards and he loved his, so I guess I'm in good graces so far. :)

Oh, please put me down for 2 of those pancakes and I'll bring maple syrup. I'm starved.

I've been thinking about that Roomba vacuum thingy. If I reallllly thought it would work I'd ask for one of those as an anniversary gift or something. Wouldn't it be great to just turn that little puppy on and have it clean for you? I'm going to look 'em up and see how much they cost.
