Oh dear, the kitchen is really filling up with bubbles. I guess Just was right, the Rainbow doesn't suck like it should.

I can't possibly see how a Roomba would work at my house - we have 5 dogs & 3 kitty kats (lots more, but the others are outside lol)
I hardly see how a roomba is going to pick up that pet hair - I mean, really now.

I hardly see how a roomba is going to pick up that pet hair - I mean, really now.

The reviews say that's what they're really made for is pickup up pet hair. I was really at the one with the "extra large" dirt bin -- yep, that's what I'd need.

Speaking of roombas, I wrote a story once where roombas all turned into an army that held people hostage in a cubicle and then shot lasers that immobilized them and sent them traveling through space.

I want one of those roombas.

ROFL -- This is one of the reviews for the second least expensive roomba (about $150) . THIS TOTALLY CRACKS ME UP:

I finally bought Romba after my mom fell down on ice and she could not do any work at home. Also becasue of my lazy dad does not help mom at home.

Best thing I ever did to help mom. I go to visit them, they have a clean floor.

I have had Roomba for almost 9 months and he has been wonderful -- and a very hard worker. I have uploaded videos of him wrestling the rug to YouTube and have talked my mother into getting one just like him. My boy has an attitude and has provided us with entertainment on occasion with some interesting manuevers. Sadly he has recently started behaving oddly and has lost his voice. [...].

Vickie has 2 dogs (one a golden retriever - they shed like the dickens) and 2 cats - she says it cleans their fur

Well, here's whats on my schedule today:

vacuuming (ahem), dusting and wiping down the kitchen cabinets, countertops.

My father and step-mother are visiting tomorrow on their way home from Florida.

Don't feel like doing any of it, don't want to do any of it but after it is finished I will have the best feeling. So I press on.

Oh and then I have to dream up something for dinner.

Those roomba reviews look pretty good, but there are dozens of models. Wonder which one is the best? I even read reviews that some people bought a separate roomba for each floor. I guess they don't do stairs!!! (thinks of self: I don't do windows or much of anything anymore since I'm busy trying to scrounge reps).

If those are the ones that do the room by themselves, my SIL had one and gave it away. She said that, unless you have a square room with no furniture in it, it takes all night to vacuum the room.

(Another plus for the Rainbow. )
