CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yeah...I saw most of the episodes for the first season. I hope it comes back for a second. I hear a lot of it is ad-libbed...which makes it even better. It also helps that a few of the cast members were on the show The State...it was on MTV in the mid 90's. Great sketch comedy show...everyone should check it out. you can find all the sketches here:

Yep, two of them were also on Viva Variety on Comedy Central in the mid-late 1990s as well.

Its so funny. My dad is actually a cop for Reno, him and the boys find it funny. They call one of their officers Deputy Dangle now.

haha, thats cool mandapanda, does your dad and his friends have a game for whoever collects the most druggies,prostitutes, and crack addicts?? lol. Reno 911 is a really funny show. If it really is ad-libbed (impromtu), that is even cooler.

Yeah...I never got into Viva Variety. I'm glad that Reno 911 came along. Some of the other members from the state are also in a comedy group called Stella. Some of their material is also at http://www.statemedia.net

I liked the anti-terrorism episode. "This is the face of freedom." The fireworks one is awesome too.
