CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm not sure why you quoted my last post and then ask me to clarify this game. The one has nothing to do with the other.
If you're unclear what the rules are, you can read the O.P. They're pretty clearly stated there.

yes I agree with this 100%. It's not up to me to inflict my view about reps onto another person.They are still meant to encourage others.
Everyone can use their reps anyway they like.
Some people like to play games with them.
Some don't.
We should not analyze how other people use them, we can only analyze how we ourselves use them.
Guilt trips are going around and it's unhealthy.
Even if someone wants to use them just to gain higher scores, they can do that and so what (who knows, later on, they mite feel differently and use all those stars in another way later).
Nobody has a rule on how you view your own reps or rep gaining or why and I don't care why.
Just have fun.

reps have a multitude of uses. To have fun, encourage and uplift. If someone is hung up on them, they need to turn to God.
I mainly come to CF for the prayer forum and also to relax and have fun and fellowship. Oy, I don't need someone making me feel bad for giving/receiving reps for fun.
