As a non-member however I would politely ask that this board stop calling itself Conservative Christian. Conforming to the model that CF has for you will no longer give you anything distinctively conservative.

I would also add that removing the membership list will open you to anyone who wants to comment. The new site wide rules won't back up telling people they cannot speak for abortion or against the authority of Scripture. Your guidelines will not have the weight of a rule.

Can you clarify your question, please? Is what specific to CC?

If you mean the "rules" vs. "guidelines" thing, then that's my understanding across the whole site. We moderate to the site-wide rules, within the framework of the forum-specific guidelines (if any). It's not CC-specific.

Is removing the membership list specific to CCC? If so, why?
