Hi LaxItUp I guess you wouldn't remember as it was back in 1982 or so, round about when you were born. The NZ entrant beat Miss USA to take the Miss Universe crown.

Yes, I do - about 24 kids from our little street out playing softball till the call went up from our mums to go in. Wonderful times!

Sure, I used to watch it as a child. (although trying to watch it now makes me wonder why. It really was pretty bad. )
