I've heard of Nike, it's the only brand of athletic shoes I trust. But I can't say I remember "Nike Cortez" Is that just a style name?

:D I was talking about getting a tan the old fashioned way...but okay. I remember tanning beds too. They became popular when I was in my mid 20's. I even tried them out for a little while. Working girl ya know...no time for laying out at the beach anymore.

Remember cooking before Teflon?

Vaguely.

Remember when being tan was "in"?
I sure do. Some of us have them naturally and can't get rid of them if they're "in" or not. :) I could be dating myself here, but do you remember the movie "10" when all those little braids were "in?"

They had one in town that I remember, but I don't recall that it was anything special.

I don't remember that movie, or the little braids

Oh yes, I remember that too. I was the first one out there, lying on a pallet in the backyard. Sometimes there was even still a little snow on the ground  (We were stupid)

Yes. I don't really mind that packaging is a little safer. But it is a pain when you are in a hurry and you have to put the glasses on, read the instructions on how to open a bottle, find a knife to poke through the metalic type covering of a bottle of advil, and then...pull out a mile of cotton. Well...on the bright side...someone's got a job creating all that extra complication.

Remember when ice cream didn't come in "Lite" "No sugar" "Fat Free" and all the other incarnations that in my opinion don't deserve to be called Ice Cream at all..but should go under a whole other name entirely?

Sorry, not old enough. But my parents and grandparents sure do!

Remember when people actually enjoyed a good book over some TV program?

Don't apologize for being young.

Actually, I know some people who still do prefer a good book over a TV program.

Remember when you could get all the help you wanted from a sales person in a store?

Yes I sure do. It was nice to have the sales people available to explain new products. Do you remember the days we used to figure math in our heads or on paper instead using of calculators?

No, but Australia doesnt have that brand, and for a little bit of trivia, we call what you consider as jello, jelly. And your jelly is our jam. The term Peanut butter and jelly to me meant peanut butter and jello... how disgusting does that sound!

Its scary to think about how many kids might have been suffering and no one thought too much about it or questioned it as long as it was behind closed doors.

Remember when every tv show you watched didn't have some sexual or immoral basis or storyline.... (uh...I guess I don't remember it ever not being like that. lol...)
