WoW! I remember when I found out my mom was turning 30 y/o my first thought was "She is getting old!"
I will be 31 this January. What happened, all of a sudden time is flying by! I just got used to being 30, now its November, what happened???!

I remember when I was 16 and I couldn't wait till I was 18. Then I couldn't wait till I was 21, don't know why I didn't drink or anything. And now I'm 30 :(

When I just turned 30 last month, I think my daughter was oblibious to my numerical age.
I just now asked her, "Do you think I'm old?" She replied, "Noooo...I think you're a grown-up." She's just 7 and will turn 8 in a little over a month.

I'm so cool.

I'm presently 30. My mom was 39 when I was born, so it can be a challenge for me to remember when she was my age! Then again, I do remember her acting younger than most of my friend's moms who were still in their thirties. In fact, both of my parents still look a lot younger than they are, so my perspective is kind of atypical. That said, I remember when my older siblings turned 30... not a whole lot changed. Much of age really is just a number.

yes,I remember when I was about 20 I felt that way,I thought "ya know,I will never see that age."
-I also remember being in elementary school trying to figure out the year that I would graduate-I was laughing so hard because it just seems like an eternity for that day, to come .
can we please turn back the clocks.

I too remember when I thought 30 was WAY old! Then, when I had my first child at 18, I remembered thinking to myself, "just imagine, when he turns 18, I'll still be young...at just 36." HA! Now that he will be 18 in just 2 years, it almost seems eons ago...(or was that yesterday?) that I had thought about that "36 years old...far, far off in the future."

Wow, where did the time go?

But really, 30's aren't bad at all. I still can act like a kid (and get away with it when playing with my children) - and then I can turn on a dime and be the "mature, older, wiser 30-something".

Being in the 30's certainly has its benefits!

This post reminded me of what I have been thinking of recently. As I've grown older, I've learned so much about life and how to be more thankful and appreciative. Time continues to march on, and as long as we are living, we grow older. That is something to be grateful for.

As I sat in my stock trading class the week before, I was thinking, wow, the instructor is pretty good looking. I wasn't checking him out per se, but just noticing how attractive he was. Well, I'm guessing he's in his very late 40s and at best early 50s. He's a grandfather. I have some friends who are in their mid to late 40s, 50s that I also think are pretty handsome or goodlooking.

There was a time I would've thought, gross, but now....at 37.....40s and 50s do not look so far away. Personally, I think I look younger now at 37 than I did at 27 because I take better care of myself. I don't fear growing older. I would think that because of the things I'm learning, doing at 47, I'll look even better than I do at 37. I'm looking forward to what transpires between now and later.

There are men and women who have young attitudes, enjoy life, make good choices, and as they age, you could not tell from their physical appearance they are really older. I am one of these people. I feel young.

Golly, I do. I remember in elementary school thinking my parents' generation was ancient!

And when I was 33 I thought, "wow...the Savior was MY AGE when He was crucified." Suddenly it didn't seem so old anymore.

At least we aren't like those old 40-year-olds. ;)
ya that and remember how I couldn't even concieve of years that were soon to be in 2000s. esp when I was real young
