In 2nd grade I'd come home everyday and watch Voltron if the bus was quick enough.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I loved Voltron, at school we had re-enactments of it during lunch (we were seven, grade two), and I was the princess...Aurora, Aura, something like that? I remember Keith, he was my first crush (yes, I know he was animated, but I was certain that our love could overcome that insignificant detail ) He was the red one, Lance was blue (I think), I can't remember anyone else. Was there a mean prince who fancied the princess?
Jacob4Jesus, I think you're right. I'm sure I remember the first series where there were about five different machines (animal-shaped things) that joined together, and another series where there were a heap of them (and I didn't like this series that much). Am I remembering wrong? It was *gasp* nearly twenty years ago. Okay, now I feel old. Until I think about things in terms of years, I don't think of the eighties as that long ago.
