The school teacher told the class that tomorrow they would touch on the great religions of the world and asked the class to bring in something that portrays or signifies their faith.
The next day the teacher asks Maria what she brought. She held out her Rosary beads and said "I'm a Catholic and these are my prayer beads." Very good said the teacher. Then she asked Ahuva what had she brought. She held up a Star of David and said she was Jewish and this was an ancient symbol of her religion since the time of Solomon. Excellent said the teacher. Lastly she asked little Susie. Susie stood up held up a cassarole dish and said I'm a Christian and this is what we take to pot luck every Sunday at church.
