Religious intolerance is a problem, yes. But is there really anything that can be done about it? Some people are required by their religion to be "intolerant" of other faiths, and to deny them that right is to be intolerant of their belief structure. Furthermore, I'd rather someone be honest about their distaste for other religions than put forth a false olive branch, all the while considering others blasphemers, idoloters, and/or infidels.
The best that can really be hoped for is for the rhetoric of intolerance to be scaled back, and people to be civil towards one another.
