First things first. What is stopping you from believing the Good News?

The Good News: Romans 3:23; 6:23; 8:1; 10:9; 10:13

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13
For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Many people come to Christianity with a lot of baggage from their old life. Step one is to ask forgiveness, step two is to forgive yourself. After that it doesn't matter because it is in the past, over and done with.

As far as relationships go - the key word is patience. You don't need to be in a big rush. Let your faith and relationship with God grow before taking on a new relationship. If you let Him, God will lead you to the right person and your past won't matter a bit.

I won't lie to you, with some people it might matter. With others it won't.

Its a great thing that you have changed, and many people only really care about who you are today. What you need to find is someone who only cares about who you are today.

There are plenty of Christian guys that are like that and are only worried about who you are today. But I won't lie because there are some that it would be a big deal to.

Perhaps what might be more of an issue is if you still have the desires for people of the same sex.

Some Christian guys will date you, some will not. But for the guys that are, the best favor you can do them when it comes to this is to purge as much of your past as you can from your present. We are all supposed to go through a lifelong process of holy transformation, shedding the old, sinful nature for the new, holy and pure nature. Any Christian guy worth his salt will be doing this and becoming a better person for God, his church, and if he plans to marry, his future wife. You should do likewise.
