ive known a friend of mine, a girl for a while. We work together.When we first met we got on very well, really well. It was really relaxed. Now suddenly she has started making fun of me all the time, especially when other people are around. Its like all the time, every day. I laughed at first but its too much all the time and i don`t understand why things have changed. I don`t know if she has suddenly decided she does not like me or if she is over compensating for something else. she has even started to ignore me a bit as well. Any advice welcome

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Pray about it and talk to her. Tell her that you realize that her attitude toward you has changed and that now she seems to enjoy making fun of you especially in public. Tell her how it makes you feel and ask her why she is doing that. Do not let her give you a vague answer.
Let us know what she said.
May God give you the words to say to her.

it seems she is doing it to everybody not just me so maybe i just need to chillout a bit. she keeps teasing me all the time, its a bit weird and i dont kno why but i think its a joke, its not serious

Dear mjcecomc. You had some good advice. The girl we are talking about sounds moody, not nice to be with often. There are 2 ways you can treat her, 1) love her enough to put up with her, and even try tofind out what is making her like that, or 2) ignore her altogether, and smile back at her if she smiles to you. Do not let her upset you. To be moody has deep roots somewhere, only patient love can help her, and perhaps change her. Greetings from Emmy, sister in Christ.

We really can't tell you why what is happening is happening, only the girl can. I would note that if you can't communicate, then it doesn't much matter, you never will have much of a relationship.
It's very possible the girl was interested in dating, but when you didn't do anything, she felt rejected. Often people move from love to hate, part of the process to convince themselves they are better off without the other.
So you may have waited too long and done away with any chance for success.
There's kind of a timing to things, and waiting and waitingn when the door is open will generally result in a shut door.
Anyway, instead of talking and talking with her and never saying anything, try to get a bit deeper. Tell her you don't appreciate the attitude, you don't know what if anything you did to cause it but if somehow you offended her you are sorry and certainly never intended to do so.
Then you have to go from there.

It could be that she was romantically attracted to you and true to the classic stereotype
Guys version: she was so sublte about it you didnt notice & besides christian girls are nice to everyone so its impossible to tell.
Girls version: you were so oblivious to her signs and guys would 'just know' what her intentions were if you were the one.
Sorry thats a bit simplistic but I've seen love hate relationships like that before.
Could be that she has something else going on in her life too.

Confront her in love and ask her to explain the sudden change towards you. If the change is attitudinal, you might need to talk to her and pray for her as well.
