Hello, I have been on the recieving end of a physical healing previously, but I was wondering how healing and repentance are linked?

I cant imagine that God would elect to heal someone who is unrepentant

and also I believe that when living in sin, faith cannot grow and its through our faith that God can heal us, what do you think?

The body is temporary, healing is the Spirit, God is a Spirit, now we have to stop being in the flesh..

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Well, if a person does not repent, the person can use his or her healing to live selfishly, possibly even to get oneself into trouble worse than the problem that needed to be healed. But God does bless people who do not repent. So, I am open, that He might heal certain people.

What matters is if I am submissive to God in the Holy Spirit; then the Holy Spirit can be effecting my body and health while I am living in His love. And this can be better than some one healing, because the Holy Spirit can guide me in His creativity for how to take care of myself . . . and how to prevent needing to get healed of some thing.

Beloved one,
our Lord Jesus Christ healed because He was prompted by His compassion.

For we heard:
“So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭20:34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Didn’t they followed Him? So have you followed Him ?

Beloved one, God’s miracles of healing promote faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

For we heard:
“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So have you received the gospel of Jesus Christ? have you believed ? have you been baptized ?

Beloved one, you said,”
I cant imagine that God would elect to heal someone who is unrepentant.”

It is not our place to judge another, and God who is greater than our hearts, knows all things. For we heard:

This is what we have heard:
“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

when our hearts have not loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

So it is through His love or compassion, that He heals us.

We also heard:
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

beloved one, our Lord Jesus Christ’s faith working through the love of the Father, that heals.

Let us pray that we through the love of Christ we serve one another in faith, that God’s signs of healing be with us, that those who have not heard him may perceive the Lord’s witness, and may believe, be baptized and saved.

For this is what we have heard :
while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. -Hebrews 2:4

To God the Father be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen

Healing is conversion of the Holy Ghost, it is to escape being of a wrong spirit, and erring..

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

I believe your points are valid. Jesus is unlikely to heal someone who will "remain in sin", because Jesus warned a man He did heal "leave your sin or a worse thing will come on you".

But we also need to know that as love "hopes all things", so too God would hope a person would repent given healing. So we can't say "living in sin" excludes God from healing.

That is not complete, charity hopes all things and endures it, so how do you hope for forgiveness when you endured without failing already ?

Charity does not do some, it does all, it fails not, that is why when you put on charity( put on the hope of Christ) you put on perfectness, you do not hope or have hope until then.

The bible is clear that healing is a part of the today experience; and I have seen sick people healed through prayer in Jesus' name.

Jas 5:14-15 If you are sick, ask the church leaders to come and pray for you. Ask them to put olive oil on you in the name of the Lord. If you have faith when you pray for sick people, they will get well. The Lord will heal them, and if they have sinned, he will forgive them.

1Co 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

Luk 10:9 Heal their sick and say, "God's kingdom will soon be here!"

Mar 16:17-18 Everyone who believes me will be able to do wonderful things. By using my name they will force out demons, and they will speak new languages. They will handle snakes and will drink poison and not be hurt. They will also heal sick people by placing their hands on them.
