RELAPSED AGAIN

As some of you guys know I have a history of substance and alcohol dependency!
I managed to stay of Alcohol since my last detox for about 10 weeks, but relapsed about 6 weeks ago.
Its affecting my physical and mental health again as I am still scripted for opiod addiction!
I have created another hell I have to fight my way out of
I am going to get another detox in the morning. Please pray for me that this time I succeed.
I feel that God has given me so many chances to conquer this! But I always fail.
Please pray I can get the strength and be given another chance to prove I can beat this addiction!

I stopped taking heroin 30 years ago but didn't beat it as I have taken methadone to this day !
The alcohol weakens the methadone as it works on the same brain receptors ( so I'm told) !
I get severe panic attacks which makes me drink more to try and have a few hours free from them! Then next day comes, and it starts all over again! Pure Hell!!!
I will beat it because I don't want to be hopeless sinner! I'm better than that I know this.
Addictions have plagued me all my life! Some I beat some I no longer do because the body no longer craves it!!!! Yeah its hard bro

Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin.

So He knows what we are suffering and has compassion.

When I say hopeless sinner ! I mean I can be better.
I do believe I am saved! But I need to put more effort in.

Get help from your church please. Lay it all out for them as the brethren are to shoulder each other's burdens. It's one of the main reasons Christ left us with the church so we can lean on each other.

Your answer to prayer and breaking the chain of addiction just might be waiting for you at your church.
