I don't see it as "what I must do but what he is doing" ... I see it as "what I should do to walk as one with Him".

Often our words dont express our thoughts well...but for hope of clarity....it is his life in me that makes me one...nothing I do brings that life...I just trust him for it.

I agree that He is the source of life, but I do believe that He has given His bride some measure of responsibility.

The husband provides the seed of life, the bride nurtures the new life and bears fruit for her husband while dwelling and relying on the husband's provision for sustenance, shelter, and protection.

But the kingdom is not born in us...we are born in the kingdom....we are the bride of his son but at this point we are betrothed not married....yet e are the children of God the Father and we are hidden in christ...we have the earnest of our inheritance but not fullfilment....we are the embryo if you will being formed and shaped in the womb of Christ....his life is our life...so in your example what responsibility does the unborn child have....is he not simply to be what his Father has made him...till that day when we are as he is...begotten...for he was the first born of many brethern.

The kingdom of God is within us (Lk 17:21), and "as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (Jn 1:12,13). Those who profess belief and faithfulness are already born.

I also don't see much of a difference between betrothal or marriage. A betrothed bride is essentially a married wife and must behave like one, in Scripture.

For the kingdom (literaly the reign)it is in us we are one...but it does not have its origin in us...we are not pregnant with a seed...for there is one seed...but yes every relationship teaches us our relationship
We come to our Father as little children in complete dependance...but Iv lived my time trying to do my part...that can only lead to Adam...I expect you wont hear that though.

Does a good father teaches their children to be in complete dependance on him, or to grow into men and women capable of standing on their own two feet? What good husband teaches their wife to be helpless and in total reliance on him?

We are betrothed to Christ as He is in us, yet we are not perfected yet and in union with Him. Later we will be resurrected with Him in perfection.
I agree. Yet I believe our imperfections does not remove our obligation to do our best in the meantime :)

I do not expect my children to perform perfectly in all that they do as a fully grown man or woman is expected to ... I can only expect that they do their best in their limited capacities, and when they give their diligent effort, I am satisfied.

It is Adam who teaches one to stand on his own.Our Father teaches us to be one with him...and Sarah understands it is not robbery to call Abraham Lord because Abraham only desires her good and does not use her for his selfish desires.

Would you teach earthly children in that manner, to not stand on their own (that is, to not work in this world to express the values you have instilled in them)? After all, it is the Lord's way, and it must be the perfect example, right? :)

It seems like you have decided that God thinks or should think as you think. Do you read your bible. It will tell you who God is.

Why the opposition to personal obedience or work? I think responsibilities are given by God, because it not only glorifies Him through our exercise of our free will, it also serves to form and purify our own character.

Can we not both assert the same thing, my friend? ;)

I admit that I have an underlying assumption - I do assert that God formed the natural world as an additional witness to His path back to Him ... the Holy Scriptures teach things in accord and harmony with the witness of the rest of the universe and nature, whether it is the natural order of the atoms; or the way the sun interacts with the earth and planets, the animals, and men and women, including marriage and children; or, the way our minds interacts with our bodies and cells ... they all witness, for me, to the truth of what the Messianic Scriptures teach.

Not of works lest any man should boast....yes we obey but as we trust him to work in and through us....he shall share his glory with no flesh....self action is how we were seperated from God the first time...I am glad you want to please God....but I am saying tbat it must be Christ in you if you will hear this is my son In whom I am well pleased.

Hopefully not a good wife with a good relationship with a good husband :)

*[[Mat 10:38-39]] KJV*
%v 38% And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
%v 39% He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

A cross is a place to die...how much work do dead men do...none

What comes immediately after "taketh not his cross, and ..." ? :)
