Yes we have it here...a local ethnic delicacy and sold in markets and shops.
It is certainly not for the diet conscious

I have had Baklava several times. The best was in a Greek coffee and pastry shop in Cambridge Mass.

Here in west central Florida, USA, the city of Tarpon Spring is a long-time center of Greeks and the Greek Orthodox Church in Florida — before 1900 the Greeks came here to dive for the sponges in the Gulf of Mexico. The influence of Tarpon Spring's Greek-culture is enjoyed by all because of its many traditions and food. I like diversity — but draw the line at some of my favorite foods — it took just one bite of baklava made by our locally-owned pizza place for me to swear off baklava from anyone other than the Greeks!

Although I've never ordered Baklava online, apparantly you can get it from Amazon.com. Click here.

According to the reviews on the site it's excellent, so it may be worth trying.

It is best to go to a local Greek Orthodox Festival and purchase Baklava there.
Fresh is best.

The ones in the stores are not as good tasting as the home-made ones. I have purchased both store-bought and home-made baklava. My relatives make baklava that is heavenly.

Or, you can go to a local Greek or Armenian restaurant and they will usually offer baklava as a dessert. Even one of our local Jewish restaurants and delis carry baklava. Those are very good too.

With prepackaged phyllo dough, baklava is very easy to make. Use a pastry or large paint brush to put the melted butter on the dough layers.

LOL, you are right. In my post I had actually also started to add all the other foods in Tampa that I like best from the source, like Cuban, Cuban sandwiches, and Spanish flan — and I could have added our famous strawberry shortcake. You are so right. There is nothing that says Tampa like Parkesdale Farms strawberry shortcake. So all you northerners come on down to the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World — Plant City (near Tampa) for the best strawberry shortcake you have ever had or will ever have — it is world famous.

PS. Yes, I can attest that the servings are exactly like the picture.
