CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

LOL, you are right. In my post I had actually also started to add all the other foods in Tampa that I like best from the source, like Cuban, Cuban sandwiches, and Spanish flan and I could have added our famous strawberry shortcake. You are so right. There is nothing that says Tampa like Parkesdale Farms strawberry shortcake. So all you northerners come on down to the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World Plant City (near Tampa) for the best strawberry shortcake you have ever had or will ever have it is world famous.
PS. Yes, I can attest that the servings are exactly like the picture.
heck yeah! lol... my parents just stayed in tampa for a couple weeks and had to rub it in every time they went. they took a picture of it and texted it to me, they sent me the brochure in the mail to rub it in, and a picture of the strawberry chair (that i have a picture of me in, somewhere), and a picture of the maps where i'd pinned where i'm from.
we camped down the road from there for a month a few years ago and went every day at 9:30 when they opened and had one. lol

Very funny. Sounds like they had a good time. Florida is a good place for your next vacation -- and there's a waiting Parkesdale strawberry shortcake with your name on it, unless they ate them all.

it's a good possibility that they did.
I'll pass on Florida, I don't really like it very much. It was our yearly thing for about 18 years of my life.... I'll pass on it now.
My husband and I are on to bigger and better things... like Europe.
