Regarding Lost Pets

With the site crashes at CF occurring over the past couple of months, many member's accounts were corrupted. I was able to transfer most of the settings over from the corrupted account to the new account - one of the things that I was not able to transfer were pets.

If this is the case with you, and your pet is lost in limbo, please send me a PM so that this can get settled once and for all.

No lost pet here, but if I hear of anyone losing a pet, I will refer them back to here.

posted a link to this thread in the pet section with my petRESCUER ID yesterday

I think one member transfered the pet by puting it up for adoption on the old account and then adopting it with the new one...it worked...will try to find the link to the thread where she posted it...

Thank you for all you did. I just got impatient and went ahead with the adoption process. I was afraid someone would snap him up while I did the transfer, but all worked well.

I hope everyone gets their pets back. But if you have not been able to get your pet back remember we have lots of pets up for adoption and they need love also.
