Refreshing..!!?

The tapwater where I live isn't the best.. leaves an odd after taste..

Anyone got some fun, cool, refreshing tips?

An easy way to flavour water? Some nice iced tea to make or something like that?

I don't have a mixer/blender or a SodaStreamer so nothing too complicated..

Brita filter for your faucet wors wonders. we have aweful water too! ugh, smells bleachy sometimes! We went out & bought a brita filter, it attaches to the faucet and filters the water. now it tastes like fresh bottled water.






or you can mix a ton of sugar & kool Aid in it and enjoy the memories of childhood!

Boil a pot of water. Take it off the burner and add 1 cup of sugar, and four family sized teabags. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Let it steep for a while - preferably over night. Pour it into a gallon pitcher and add water to fill.

If you're in my family, repeat two or three times in any given day when it's hot. I can't drink carbonated drinks, and I don't like water, so this is all I drink.

If you like gatorade, you can buy large containers of powdered gatorade and make your own. My kids like that.

This, except we have the actual Brita pitcher, not the faucet adapter. There's also Pūr, which was nicer in some ways, and worse in others (nice: it dispenses like a water cooler, worse: harder to refill).


There's also MiO, which is a 'water enhancer' that they've been advertising recently. Supposed to flavor it, but I don't know how good it tastes.

It's basically concentrated Crystal Light. If you like that stuff, it's great. I think it's nasty.

I have seen flavor drops in the tea isle at my local store, but since you are in Sweeden they may not be available there. Look around in the tea/coffee isle of your store and see what is available.

The old tried and true of a squeeze of lemon with or without sugar in the water is always great to me. I keep a bottle of lemon juice in the fridge for cooking and adding to water.

We have nasty water too, and we just put it in the fridge. Tastes just fine when we go to get some.

Yeah, a brita water filter really works wonders. I also like to add a slice of cucumber and a slice of lemon to my water.

It makes me feel like a movie star.
