Reformed/Calinist Baptists, roll call.

Just wondering how many Reformed Baptists we have on board? How many are Calvinists but also dispensational?

I'm a Calvinist (reformed camp). I'm don't consider myself a dispensationalist, except maybe in the technical sense of the word.

I favor the premill. interpretation, but I'm not studied up on the details.

I am also a Reformed Baptist, but I am NOT a Dispensationalist. I tend toward the Historic Premillennial Viewpoint.

I am most certainly not dispensational. I am actually on the other side of the spectrum.

i would say that i am reformed and baptist,

i just recently heard about dispensationils...kind of got a brief explaination on it, so i will probably start looking into it once i get back from canada.

I'm at Southern Seminary, so I'm Southern Baptist, but we're all Calvinists here .. and I'm Covenantal Theology.

I can be considered Reformed Baptist though our church is non-denominational. We were Baptist about 30 years ago and we teach Reformed Theology.

I am not dispensational.

I did see your question and if I thought I had a goods and acceptable answer I would have shared it. Most of what you raised in your question I have not looked into very closely, though have read though some matterail on some of the things you ask about, these are some of what I have found.

Most reformed are Covent.
Some Baptists are Dispen or new dispen.
Reformed baptists are both Covent or dispen.
Baptist are Baptist with reguard to infant Baptism. Weather they are dispen or Coventant.
Reformed baptize infants as a sign of a new covent, not the same as RCC.
Then there is allways the reformed Catholics, not to be confused with the RC's which are not the same as the old Catholics in that they are new Catholics

I was just wondering if those early teachings where being taught by the seminary which you attend with in the RC faith. They are a good read IMHO.

Socratic is that a good thing?
