I am terrible with humans, so I am not even going to try a Gungan. He's tall, lanky, but wiry and well toned, so not wimpy. His legs are especially strong, as is characteristic in Gungans)
Appearance: Reeko's skin is primarily grey and tan, with the grey being on the outer sides of his limbs, his back, and the top of his head and eyestalks. His eyes are yellow, like most of his species, and usually in a scowl. He is tall, but average by Gungan standards, with the usual strong and toned body they have from a life of swimming and hunting. And in Reeko's case, fighting and running from Imperial Law Enforcement. His clothing is far from glamorous, and is actually on the ragged side, due to the number of stitches and patches he has had to put in them.
Clothing: Reeko wears mostly black and red. He dons a black sleeveless shirt, with a black, red-trimmed light plate of blast armor. His pants, which are tied off just several inches above the foot, are black and baggy, made of a quiet and comfortable material. A black skull cap fits snugly over his head, with his eyestalks protruding from two holes in the top(similar to that of Captain Tarpals in the Phantom Menace.) He does not wear shoes, or any kind of footwear, but he does wear blast armor vambraces over his forearms, and keeps black gloves on his person, should he feel the need to keep his fingerprints from being left in a place where he could have gotten in trouble.
Equipment: The weapon of choice for Reeko is his native weapon, the electropole, as well as a Gungan energy shield. The electropole is retractable, and the shaft hangs on a sling over his shoulder, while his shield generator is actually attached to his left vambrace. He also keeps a small satchel slung over his back, with some provisions and emergency tools, and a pouch on his hip, with a few "boomers" he uses in tight situations.
History: Reeko was born beneath the oceans of Naboo, in an isolated aquatic city in the final days of the Old Republic. He grew up in a fairly normal atmosphere, as the Empire took their time in coming to bully the Naboo. But when the Queen rebelled, the Gungans suffered, and Reeko was left in a shell of what his proud home had once been.
After being fed up with Imperials and scared Gungans, Reeko took what few weapons he could get his hands on and fled, swimming for the nearest starport. He earned a job as a dish cleaner on a freighter, and in that line of duty, prevented 2 mutinees(out of three that were attempted), and was made airlock guard after the captain was finally killed. He was restored to his old position, though, and actually allowed to work as an auxiliary cook after putting out a grease fire that no one else could tame. He was a dilligent worker, and even alerted the ship to a group of pirates who had boarded them in the night by luring them into the engine room, where they were later apprehended by security. 15 minutes later. He had been the bait, and his howling and screaming was not answered until several people had decided to silence him in order to continue sleeping. After this, the crew decided he was worth keeping around after all, and gave him a raise... and then another, when he still threatened to leave.
Being the Gungan of principle that he was, he couldn't let them reward him for disloyalty and then go and be loyal, so he vanished into port the next time they stopped to drop off cargo. After using his every last credit to purchase a rickety personal starship, Reeko took up bounty hunting. This occurred, however, when he angrily shocked a man into submission for stealing one of his boomers from home, who just happened to be a mugger wanted on 3 planets in the system.
Since then, he has become a part time bounty hunter, but he is not serious about the job, although he has tried to help out more, now that the New Republic is being established. He has not forgotten the "good old days", and so does his best to be a contributing citizen. ....Trouble just always seems to manage to find him.
Personality: Reeko is not a bad guy! He's dedicated, generally friendly, and good-natured. But when he is constantly ridiculed for his dialect, species, ears, height, name, what have you, he tends to get edgy. He may not go out looking for trouble, but he wonders sometimes if it doesn't look for him. He has learned from experience to be a good fighter, and although his weapons are outdated, and of little defense against a group of Stormtroopers, or a well-armed bounty hunter, he manages to keep himself alive by keeping the element of surprise, and ending fights in close quarters before they can truly begin. He doesn't like long fights, and will usually attempt to flee if things get too unpleasant. He's not a coward... he just has a hard time staying motivated when it comes to fighting.
As far as Gungans go, Reeko is fairly intelligent, and compatable with the rest of the galaxy. However, most people seem to have a problem with Gungans, and immediately assume he is stupid because of his dialect. This does not do much good for his temper, sadly, but he is not hard to get into a good mood if you are genuinely kind to him. Just be sure to take him seriously. Most don't, and its their loss.
