We have a meeting this morning at work. An operations meeting. They will be telling us if we are still financially in the red. Hopefully this new admin won't end up fixing it so we have to close our doors.

Sometimes we tend to be blind when it comes to our own persons. We settle in and pass judgement on others and chastise them every chance we get because we think we are better than others. We take up our bibles and use them to beat others over the head with in our judgement. Yet, we seldom open that same bible and seek the truths we have yet to learn. It would be more beneficial to all involved if we used our time for the Lord in a constructive and edifying manner as opposed to picking others apart and trying to tear them down. None of us are worthy of the Lord's mercy. None of us should be mistreating fellow brothers and sisters in Christ just because we have a big piece of crow stuck in our throats. What comes around, goes around. The bible states very clearly that the measure we mete shall be measured to us again. As Christians we are commanded to love the Lord, and our neighbors as we love ourselves. If you're going to walk in the Lord's footsteps please do try to stay in line with the word. Tagging along behind just won't do.

They are far more interested in the females with less clothing and weaker moral standards.

What has the world done to us where the mothers of our children feel inadequate if there dress size is over 6? What have we done to our world when men not longer can see our sisters for who they are.

And I got a real problem with so called christian men who have no more respect for a girl than their counterparts in the world.

Don't mind me I was at my monthly mens meeting last night BH that there are a few real men left that I can hang out with once in a while!

I got a quick question for you since you are in Australia

What holidays do they have in Australia that are peculiar to Australia

For instance here in the US we have Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor day

I would say Thanksgiving but Canada also has a Thanksgiving day but earlier than ours.

I was thinking about this the other day and now blessedly I have some one to ask!

PG, the days of finding a true gentleman are getting close to becoming extinct. Not to mention any that are loving and kind, Christian and have any sense of decency. I'm no saint, though.

My wife married the last one available for awhile. My oldest son is 10 so it's gonna be a dry spell for a few years...

Not quite, Menno. My boys are just about of marryin' age & are honeypots.

PG: we don't seem to go in for holidays as such. Most of ours we inherited from the Brits so really there's only Australia Day (Jan 26th) when we became a penal colony of Britain & ANZAC day (April 25th) when we celebrated being massacred by the Turks in WW 1. Overt patriosim isn't really our thing either so most people just get a day of work & have a barbie if the weather's good. The Govt is trying to change that & there's been more of a celebratory thing the past few years but I don't know anyone who goes to these things. A more informed or politically aware Aussie might be able to help you more.
