Hey. :) I recently moved into a new apartment and found my old OSB. It's not written in at all, and it had been stored in a Bible carrying case. Looks new. It's the red leather edition that was limited time, and there are no plans for reprint. I bought it for right at $100 a couple years ago. Here's a picture of it from the official website (I made it a link because it's a really big image): Click here!

Anyways, I don't really intend to convert back, so I thought I'd see if anyone here wanted to buy it from me. I kinda don't wanna get rid of it because it's really pretty, lol, but I'm struggling with rent this month. Plus, I figured that it would be put to much better use by someone else. :)

Regardless of personal religious affiliation or belief, every bookshelf (at least in certain geographical areas) should include a Bible.

It is - or was - an essential book for understanding our history, culture, society, and literary development.

It also is considered to have literary merit in its own right.

And if one is Christian, it is of course much more. :)

I mean, I do live in the South. :p What kind of respectable person would I be if I didn't have a Bible in my home?? ;)

I dunno. I need some extra money for rent so I was thinking about it. Still will probably sell it, but I'm reconsidering at least. :) <3

Why do you not want to convert back? I am new in the church and i have found the church to be such an awesome source of joy/peace.

I love it. The commentary is excellent and very Orthodox.

Me too. I've heard it's very elementary and seems more geered to converts. I apparently need elementary to understand as I'm pretty simple-minded, and I do get a lot out of the basics and such. :)
