what do you pray when you prays for moriah?

Moriah, if you would like I will do my best to type out words, but mostly I think of you, think of how you are hurting, think of how much I wish I could be there to assist you in whatever way is required, lift you up to the Lord, and ask Him to bring to you whatever it is that you need--if you need encouragement, someone encouraging or supportive; if you need ministry, a loving ministering angel to care for you; if you need sleep, peace and rest. I sort of have a gift of empathy, remember?

Most of my prayers for you do not involve set out words but more like feeling you and thinking of you and sending positives your way and lifting you up before God. Does that make any sense?

Dear Circle Friends,

I have a great burden on my heart and I wonder if you would pray for me too. Well actually it's not for me--I'm good!--but rather for my dear hubby.

As much as he hates to admit it, he has not been feeling well lately. And it's not like most men, who are rather poor patients when they're sicky, but rather he just has not been feeling well for a long time.

He has asthma pretty bad--damaged his lungs by inhaling fiberglass when he was a kid. He also has chronic fatigue and now I think he has a flu or something. Throughout most of his life he was one of those guys who just "powered through the fatigue" and REALLY misused his body and didn't treat it very respectfully. Well...he's paying for it now that he's a little older.

Anyway, it's a burden on my heart because he NEVER admits he's not feeling well or lays down, and he's laying in bed sleeping right now...and has been all day. I know for him to do that he must be VERY sick.

So please pray for his healing and please pray for me to be a good "sicky tender". Thank you!

Faithful, I really pray for your husband to get better -- that is quite a thing and very stereotypical of us men. I've noticed, myself, that I also never go to the doctor -- many times in the middle of winter I have a throat so hoarse I cannot talk and my nose is running non-stop yet I think of the doctor as some sort of amazing inconvenience and a useless endeavor. A lot of men are like that... I guess we grow up wanting to power through it.

I am sure it will work out -- often times sleep and good food and drink is what the body needs most, it can often mend itself; Hope things get better!

I will keep him in prayer.

exactly, we're men, we don't need doctors.
Well, at least we don't want them, we probably do need them though.

Today I give you this gift--the gift of Kindred Spirits, as we in this circle are all kindred spirits.

Thank you for your prayers for my dear hubby. He seems to be doing a little better today. Still sleeping in a little (yay) but a bit better.

Good morning friends, and happy Friday! I will be out for the rest of the day spending time with my family. But I should be back online sometime tomorrow. Everyone have a blessed day and weekend! Continue to walk in peace my dear friends.

Oh Circle! I have BIG NEWS!! Gigantic news. The Lakota people have withdrawn from the United States!

Here's a link--sorry it's not so pretty. :prayer:

This really does not surprise me, for there has been talk of rebellion (revolution) for a long time in many NDN circles. I cannot help but wonder though what other NDN Nations will soon follow suit. Keep me posted on this, will you please?

I like your signature btw Jane.

Thank you! I had to abridge it in order to make it fit, but I think it still captures the spirit of the whole speech:

So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and
Demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life,
Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and
Its purpose in the service of your people.

Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend,
Even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and
Bow to none. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and
For the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks,
The fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and nothing,
For abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts
Are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes
They weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again
In a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."

I'd like to stay updated there too.

Great news! This deserves much more publicity! I bet the average citizen hasn't even noticed it.
If I am an average citizen, that is correct, I have heard nothing of it, aside from here. It hasn't made the news.
