I was very comforted yesterday in worship; I felt the presence of God in a very bright way & was reminded of the verse that says the darkness will become darker......BUT the light will become lighter, and the path of the righteous grows brighter & brighter until the full day.

The circle works outside the circle and draws all together because of love .....

May I make a request? I understand that you two gentleman have important things to say to one another and perhaps to some others who read and understand and care to listen--but for some others this veiled type of talk is not going to make sense.

May I request that you perhaps create a little club of your own or speak most of this on PM??? It is my personal request--it is no one's opinion other than my own--and yet I suspect that THIS place, dear little Red Fox's Talking Circle, is not quite the right location for your discussion. Of course I would acquiesce to our Red Fox if she disagrees--but for now I would like to see more of her pictures, some of her links, hear of cherokeehippie's baskets, ask the wolfman where he was (you were missed here), laugh a while with cristiana, and get to know Ivy.

What do you say? Will you consider my request?

cherokeehippie~

I saw a picture today that reminded me of you and your amazing talent:

baskets_th.jpg

I'm not trying to suggest that this is YOUR way of basket weaving, but rather, I thought of you when I saw it and rejoiced that you had been given such a gift to create beauty and art from reeds! If you must know the truth, what I honestly thought was "Another generation and the art has not been lost!!" :D

 Thinking of you!

My friends, I must agree with FaithfulWife, and ask, with love and respect, to not discuss this within my Talking Circle. A Talking Circle is meant to be of benefit to all who sit around it. It is a place of sharing and of learning for all to participate in. I sincerely hope neither one of you is offended or upset by my request. I want all of our friends to be able to participate in each discussion. And please do not think you are no longer welcome, because you certainly are. You are part of our family. Thank you, my friends, for your understanding.

 Yea, I do like to laugh FaithfulWife.

Those baskets in the picture are beautiful. One time I tried making one from a "kit". I deemed it certainly not my talent. Maybe with practice? Probably not. So yes, I think I'll leave it to those who make it look so beauitfully easy. ^_^ Because of that I have to agree, I want to hear more cherokeehippie!

Good morning everyone!

I bid you all a fair good evening and a restful night. My beloved Three Hawks and I are going out to see a movie tonight. He took me to dinner last night and now he is taking me to see a movie tonight. I will be back online either late tonight or again tomorrow. Talk to you all more later.

That sounds like fun, enjoy the movie?

He was at work, does that count?

Good morning, my dear friends.

Good morning

No, I did not enjoy the movie. We saw Beowulf, and I do not recommend it nor consider it worth seeing again. I do want to see the new National Treasure movie when it opens next month though.
Bummer, I wanted to see that, I assume it's like 300.

The new National Treasure does look good.

Yes, Beowulf is a lot like 300. The new National Treasure movie does look good. I have heard the Golden Compass is anti-christian. Have you heard such reviews, too?

Golden Compass is bad, well at least the last in the trilogy will be.
They will kill a god named Jehovah, if I remembering the review straight.

The Compass movie is a potential issue for many. It's actually a book from a series under a different name, which is written from a proudly professing athiest. In the series (which I have to say I have NOT read) it is said the ultimate plan and goal is the killing of God. But the movie is the "watered down" version.

Somewhere I had a link from an email. I'll have to search for it.

Art though truly a sheep in wolf's clothing ?

Is this a good day for we two to howl as one in a pack of four ?

Has there been any sign in the sky, smell on the wind, of sheep for wolves to feast upon?
