Recurring dream about big, violent waves

The past six months or so I have been having a recurring dream about being on a beach and seeing giant, violent waves. The dream is always exactly the same.

I am standing on a cliff, but its not very high, and I am looking out at the ocean. The beach below is very, very narrow, maybe 10 or 15 feet. The waves come right up to the edge of the water and I rarely see them break. They are huge, Im a talking about 40-60 feet tall, and i am right at eye level with the middle of them because of the cliff I am standing on. The waves are dark and muddy, and the sky is overcast. And there are never any other people on the beach, just me. And I always have this fear being there, but its not something that I can explain.

I really wouldnt think too much of it, but I have had it five or six times. Can someone help me out?

I do not know, but I do know that is a serious sign, to have such imagery and dreams from God.

It concerns me that you feel this fear.

This said, God is love and rewards faith. I would pray to Him for strength, and He will give you the strength to stand.

Remember, do not worry. Do not fear. But, trust in the Lord.

We do feel fear. We are full of worry. But, trust in the Lord and everything will be alright. Your faith will be rewarded.

He will keep you standing.

If you wish, go to the Lord in prayer, because for sure this is a dream of the Lord. Tell Him you believe and understand this and need help and guidance, that you need mercy.

He will surely answer such a prayer.

Thank you for your reply. The fear I feel in the dream is not a bad fear, its hard to explain. Its more of an apprehension of the unknown if that makes sense.

I don't know if this has any significance, but I will share it anyway. Last November I went to the doctor because of some health issues that I had been having that were caused by stress. I posted on this forum for some prayer and someone that replied to one of my posts PM'ed me on November 29th (the only reason I know this is because it was the day that my grandmother suddenly died). Anyway, she told me that she had had a vision while praying for me and that she felt compelled by God to tell me about it. In it all she was was deep, dark blue ocean, I think the day was clear, and there was a path of stones going through the middle of it as far as she could see.

Are this vision and my dream related in any way?
