I've read lots of her posts and she has been delivered. She is a follower of Jesus. (if I may be so bold as to attempt to say this for her)

Please... pray for her and pray for her son. All of us mothers love our children and take pride in them. Please pray and pray and pray... yes, share the truth in love and in Christ... share the gospel... but please be gentle and pray... I know you probably have prayed and will continue to pray... hostility will not help.

Moriah I pray you find the peace in Jesus that you need so desperately and I also pray that you can find the help and guidance you seek in your life. Cheisy is the only answer and only through His power can you truly be set free. Love and peace to you

In an ideal world, I would make contact with someone in real life and if you happen to know of a counselor in Auckland New Zealand, who deals in spiritual abuse, dealing with issues related to the occult, issues related to having been a pro Domme and a sex worker, and is a spirit filled christian, please, let me know.

So, there are no real life people available, but there are plenty of them on the Internet? If you truely want help, in real life, it is there for you. A good competent counselor can be a WORLD of help, much much more than anyone on the Internet.

I will however settle for a spirit filled christian counselor, that has a suitable ounce of common sense.

If I could seek help in real life I would be there instead of on an internet forum, getting hammered by people who claim to be interested in the state of my soul, but in all reality are just interested in point scoring and game playing

You CAN seek help, but first you have to want it.

I am agoraphobic, but I managed to find a counselor, and I am SOMEHOW able to make my appointments on time.

However stop casting judgement on things you know nothing about it helps no one

I dont question your ability to council at all. I do though question the type of councelling this board condones, and being built on 5 christian principles, i can only see counciling from someone still possibly invvolved with occultish activities, on a board that esteems the christian principles, not condoning that which is against Christ, this becomes an important issue, because either these 5 principles mean something, or they are only window dressing.

Ministering is 'giving', nothing more nothing less.

If you dont have a million bucks in the bank, how can you write me a good check for a million?

To 'minister' is to 'ADMINISTER' what you have on hand to give to a certain situaiton.

If one has Christ they can minister Christ. If one doesnt have Christ they cannot minister Christ.

If one has association with the occult this too is all they can give, from their particular standpoint. So how is giving that which promotes evil according to Christ, ministering 'good' and not breaking the laws of our guidelines?

For the good of those truly trying to escape it, i believe we need to insure they arent ministered to by those who dont share the same desire to escape it. Lets admit at least there could be conflicting interests at work, and losing a single soul is certainly not wirth that risk.

Excellent post - you have said nothing to me that indicates any ill will or hostility.

As far as I know right now, there is no one ministering on that sub-forum that is involved in the occult )or even was involved to my knowledge).

I am eagerly awaiting the results of the pastoral team's discussions on this matter.

The operative word is competent, which includes having regular supervision

I have yet to find a Christian counselor that actually has regular supervision and most tend to think of accountability as a swearword. In my job, I am required to adhere to safe practice, and I will not engage with another professional who does not and run the risk of creating more problems that it fixes.

It also doesn't help in that real life Christians terrify me. Through out the process of PMs and regular diaologue in the Black sheep alliance, have gotten to the point when I can attend church on a semi regular basis without a major anxiety attack. In real life things are never that easy, however its much easier to say "She musnt want help, because she won t seek out real life help" as opposed to think well, perhaps shes in a really bad place

He is compassionate... but young. We all were young at one time and had a lot to learn. Leave him alone.

Sylvanspirits is the same age. He knows what to do and say because he has the Spirit of God. Age is no excuse.

That one knows exactly what she is doing and whom she is doing it for. My only incision here is to provoke the attempt on her part to start convincing others she is acting in the will of God with these false judgments, because then the REAL deceptions can start flying and taking hold and destroying each and every one of those who deserve to be destroyed for embracing such things!

OK. Let me explain, since so much hay is being made of this. I tried to clarify, but nobody seems to listen to clarifications.

When I said that Moriah would be ministering to to others, I meant that she would be reaching out with a listening ear. With empathy. It is the most basic form of ministry that a person can do. It is something that any survivor will do in a group therapy situation. To forbid her would be to harm her, because ministering to one another that way is a key aspect of group recovery.

What I did not mean by ministry was teaching or leading. Moriah is not in a position to do that. That is where the supervision comes in. We will help her to respect those boundaries if she needs it.

Please dial the rhetoric back a few notches. This thread has taken a decided turn for the worst in the last few pages. Please avoid making personal or inflammatory comments about other thread participants.
