Reconciliation
Jesus makes Reconcilation for Sin
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved (necessary) him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Reconciled to God by Jesus
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Jesus Ends Enmity
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be (1) thrones, or (2) dominions, or (3) principalities, or (4) powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Jesus Reconciles Everything
Col 1:17 And he (Jesus) is before all things, and by him all things consist. Col 1:18 And (1) he (Jesus) is the head of the body, the church: (2) who (Jesus) is the beginning, (3) the firstborn from the dead; (4) that in all things he might have the preeminence. Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
God was in Christ Reconciling Mankind
2Co 5:17 There fore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be you reconciled to God. 2Co 5:21 For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
