Recommend me a devotional book/resource

I'd like to have a go at some of these devotional books although the range is so massive I have no idea where to start. So if someone has used one that has helped them before please recommend.

I don't know if you can still get these, but I used to read them and thought they were great. I was actually thinking of this the other day and wondered if they were still around because I'd like another one. They are called Every day with Jesus. And they basically come in 3 month books, where you read one every day for the 3 months. They are short and sweet and from memory they also have extra scriptures you can look up if you are interested in further study, or you just read the scripture at the top and the little blurb at the bottom. Then if you want to you follow up on the other scriptures.

There is heaps of online devotionals. I get one emailed every day, but it is a womens one, so I don't think it would work for you. I also get emailed one every week, but that's only one/week, by Max Lucado, I could give you the link to sign up to that one if you are interested.

UCB are awesome. They are a small Aussie ministry, their devotionals are short, but to the point and very encouraging.

Thanks for reminding me of that one. I forgot the name of that one.

I had someone give me a booklet with Word for today one hospital visit. And I never managed to get a new copy. I think I'll follow that link now and get them emailed. Thanks for that.

I've been using this devotional for about 2 years and have bought it for friends and family. In reading this, I've found out just how imperfect my faith is. It's important to take the challenge that this daily devotional provides and do something with it in your daily life. When reading this, you discover just how patient Smith Wigglesworth was with God. I want God to just do HIS thing right away but it doesn't always work that way.
