Recognition and thanks

Brothers and sisters,

Just want to give a little update. In the past 4 days there have only been 2 reports in CC, only 1 currently active. Just a short week ago we had ~15 active reports at any given point (staff's inboxes were always full)

This change is a direct result of CC members abiding by the rules and not taking the bait when it's waved in front of us. What's especially nice is the fact that we've been able to participate in threads that some would say are controversial or "red flags." We've been able to take a strong Biblical stance and state our position accordingly. All without problem because we've addressed the issues and not attacked a person.

CC staff (mods, senior mods and admins) have noticed. I'm guessing that those above CC staff (and they are watching) have noticed too.

So this morning I'm thanking God for my brothers and sisters here at CC - and praising Him for you.

You've done good folks - thank you, thank you, thank you.

Let us continue in our quest to take a Godly, Scriptural stance and let our speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that we may know how we ought to answer each person.

Want to second what Edie said.

CC is becoming more peaceful every day, and modding this forum is becoming a blessing again. The change has been nothing short of miraculous, and we're so incredibly grateful. This *is* the conservative forum, and even threads which previously would have exploded have been full of learning and fellowship and kindness, with no scriptural compromise.

I am trying to get the hang of it,
but the rules of courtesy and good
manners that I was brought up with
don't seem to apply on CF.

That is a hard row to hoe, when one
is 63 and accustomed to church fellowship.

Staff has been proactive in simply deleting some posts that we feel are baiting. However if we miss one and you don't want to report it - pm CC staff a link and we'll go from there.

We want this to work!!!
