Recent widower, being tested for cancer.

The title of the thread pretty much says it. But I have had some gut pain and recently a GI bleed started. Got the imagery done and got shoved over to oncology. And the first round of tests show some evidence of cancer.

I had lost my wife back in July of last year, and while I am honestly disconcerned about living or dying because I know either way, the Lord is with me, but today it really hit me hard that Debi won't be here to walk through this with me.

I know it's selfish, in a way because she already saw her brother and our beloved cat being taken by cancer.

I just need prayer that I am facing this with no wife, no kids, and my closest siblings around 500 miles away. I am glad that I am going through this with Jesus but the more support the merrier...

And as you do, you may be surprised along the way, by the unexpected 'helps' that He brings into your life ...

My husband is now on hospice with cancer.
We don't have alot of support where we are, and yet the Lord continues to provide all that we need, and more ...
