  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear friends,
Most of you do not know this but I have had a state guardian since age 18. Recently he approached me and said it was time for me to take up the mantle and quote "Become my person". So I got an attorney through him (with his help) and we all went to a virtual courtroom on Zoom on April 4th. Now long story short I am my guardian for the first time in my adult life. I am nervous but excited about it. Please pray that I do not mess up the opportunity but also praise the Lord the judge saw that I was mentally ready for this adventure.

Amen brother. Hopefully the court said that you can stay a guardian, and that you had no attorney's fees (cos we live in the land of the fee). I will pray for you sir, that this new chapter in your life goes well.
