  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i highly recommend sixpence none the richer. my favorite band of all time. i have every CD they've made...gorgeous vocals, lyrics, and instrumentals.
I, too, am a pretty extreme Sixpence fan. Do you have their cd, "Original Demos?" It is an ep they released independantly before Fatherless & The Widow. It's pretty cool because Matt Slocum does a lot of singing, which he doesn't do on their regular albums.

I'm definitely looking forward to Leigh Nash's solo album in August.

It's the best stuff I've heard from them... but not quite as catchy and creative as I would have liked to hear. Though... I haven't had a great chance to really listen to it yet, so my opinion may change. It's definitely better than their past stuff.

Oh... and I really like that Mute Math cd. The newest Paste Magazine came with a live clip from them and it was pretty insane.

I'll be most sure to check it out now, thanks. Yeah, if you haven't caught Mute Math live, they put on a crazy show. I saw them on Saturday for the 4th time, just as crazy as usual...
