CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Billy Currington's new disc Doin' Something Right-it's okay, he does a good cover of Lucille. I probably won't be going out and buying his freshman effort though.
Brad Pasiley's Time Well Wasted-this is a great country album! I definately will be buying some more of his CDs.

i bought both tool dvds & two of their cds & had the nasty surprise of getting one that was write protected. that sux! so i can't burn it onto the computer or hear it on my mp3 player; that should be illegal! it's mine, i paid for it, i should be able to use it & make copies of it for my use, just like the supreme court sez, grr!

oh yeah, and special j, you're welcome to defend coheed as much as you want. i think it's fine for people to like music that i think is lame... they just need to love it, and they should probably be able to explain what it is that makes it seem like good music to them.

plus they albums tell a story and, if you know what's going on in the story, it helps you appreciate the music a lot more.
And I like dashboard, especially their unplugged stuff cuz it's great acoustic music to play along with.
