Really scared

I’m so scared brothers and sisters , my mommy opened a book in the mail , that she didnt even order we were confused where it came from, well white powdery substance was on the page and i am so terrified that it was anthrax please pray to dear Jesus Christ in Heaven our good Father willl heal her of anything and let it have not been that thank you so much

Thank you so much for asking, yes she is okay thank you for asking shes perfectly fine. I am just worried she could have been exposed to anthrax

I am not sure, my dad brought it is I didn’t see it just the book after they opened it

Here are the symptoms of anthrax having been inhaled from the Mayo Clinic website.

• Flu-like symptoms, such as sore throat, mild fever, fatigue and muscle aches, which may last a few hours or days
• Mild chest discomfort
• Shortness of breath
• Nausea
• Coughing up blood
• Painful swallowing

So long as she's not exhibiting these signs/symptoms she's likely okay, but it's best to have her examined by medical personnel if you're concerned.

Also, if it were me I'd call the authorities for instructions on what to do with the envelope for examination, and disposal. Let them determine if the substance is harmful, or if it's just a prank. In addition if your Mother is exhibiting those signs I'd take her to a hospital to be checked out right away. Last I'll just add that the chances of someone sending Anthrax to you, and your family if you're not prominent politicians, or something similar is quite low. So, I wouldn't be overly worried. Plus it can be properly treated as it's a bacteria so don't worry too much.

Bring it to the authorities and have it tested. Try to touch the envelope or book as little as possible for the sake of fingerprints. To send powder like that is a felony criminal offense and the authorities will be interested. More importantly, if it is toxic your mom can get a head start on treatment.

I bet it's not that easy to get ahold of anthrax. I suspect some mean person who doesn't like your mother used something like chalk dust to frighten her.

Just to be on the safe side, I would put in a police report, it could be cocaine that someone may have been hiding in the book?
Heavenly Father I pray for a hedge of protection over everyone in the receiving end, who has been exposed to this white powder. I ask that they will be able to resolve this issue, so the fear will pass, In Jesus Name, Amen
