Reality shows

Are there any wholesome or halfway decent reality shows out there? Many of them I avoid, even Survivor, Big Brother, and the Amazing Race. Run's House aired on MTV and I liked that show as it was quite wholesome and it wasn't a glorification of greed and other forms of immorality.

I like Alaska the Last Frontier, love the subsistence life they live and tell myself I would be good at that, right. Yeah, right. I could dream. I watch shows that no longer air but you could still find them on Discovery website. Man vs Wild, Man Woman Wild, notice a theme? Other than that, hate, hate, hate reality shows. The 700 Club promote that show where all the men have outrageous beards, Duck Dynasty, so that must be ok. I never watched it myself.

Amazing race is decent. Where as survivor can be mixed. And Big Brother... stopped watching on the first season since everyone sleeps with everyone. Aside from that there are not many I can think of. It also depends on what you mean by wholesome. One mans wholesome is another mans unwholesome.

I watch a lot of reality TV, but mostly contests like Masterchef and The Voice. I also like Restaurant Impossible. I have found out that generally speaking, Australian reality shows are of better quality, and the people are nicer. I just watch them online.
