Because my understanding of parallax is like this:

If I am standing at a particular spot, I can take a directional bearing on a distant object, say a tree. The tree might be 11 degrees off due north, for example. Then, I can move a distance to the east, say ten meters. I then take another bearing on the tree, and now I find it is only 4 degrees off due north. With this information, I can determine how far away the tree is from my position.

I had asked him a much more fundamental question, namely why bring up the issue of parallax in the first place when the Bible advocates a geocentric Universe rotating around a stationary Earth.
This would result in zero parallax for any star when measured by an Earth bound observer.
By invoking parallax in this thread he has effectively demonstrated the Bible is wrong which by his own standards makes him a heretic and apostate.

One example of a measure of parallax is taking a measurement from earth six month apart, to get a base line of a certain length which is used to measure distance to a star. We have a twofold use of time there. One use is the six months. The other is timespace itself IN which the length measure exists!

Time is only relevant to parallax measurement if the measurement baseline and the object of measurement are in relative motion at relativistic speeds parallel to that baseline.
