Simply look up the local church and inquire about their church library. You may not be able to take the books home. After all, some of them are quite expensive. Still, you can read there as well as anywhere else! You know, just for general sound Christian theology, C.S.Lewis can't be beat either. He was in the Church of England (or Episcopalian here in the US) but no one's perfect.
