That is all still scant evidence to debunk the term integrity in describine President Bush. What has he told us he would do that he did not do? It seems to me that the media establishment is agog and does not know how to handle someone who does what he said he would do.

Is there any war that is just? What has to happen for a war to be just?
Invade your neigbors? He did that.
Gas innocent people? Did that too?
Refuse to comply with cease fire terms set out in the last war he lost?
Yup... that too!

the nearest "just" war I can think of was the Falklands invasion. How many people criticise Britain for going to war to get back the Falklands on the basis it wasn't a "just" war?

Or even the first Gulf War? How many people criticise it that it was "unjust"?

Why do you think made these wars just?
I suppose there were folks somewhere out there who did not like them.

I grew up in the Viet Nam era, and a lot of us did not like that war and I suppose it was our actions that actually stopped it.
But I do not see the same situation here.

Also I think sometimes people put a spin on things, and after a while they start believing it.

I dunno.
Thanks for the discussion datan. I hope you do not go away thinking Americans are all war mongers and the like. I honestly think history will look back and say that this war was just, and that getting rid of old Saddam was a good thing.
