RE5/Zombie games in general.

I've been playing RE5 lately. So who here likes zombie games? Or has strong opinions on zombie games in general, like how wrong it is that zombies can now use guns, and how exactly the "zombies" in RE5 are zombies at all ! That my dear persons is beyond me.

P.s : Yes I am a girl, and yes I am a gamer... and yes I like zombies :O!

That's a great game, I love RE5 too! I'm a big fan of the entire Resident Evil franchise. I wondered the same thing, how are they like zombies at all? They aren't even dead. !

I play Left 4 Dead and I personally don't think it's fair that zombies can jump or run...they're the freaking undead..there's nothing fast about that!

I like playing Dead Rising...the zombies are more Zombie like in that I guess. THey wander about and attack anything that gets too close.

I absolutely love Left 4 Dead. I haven't played Dead Rising or Resident Evil.

I too am a major fan of zombies. I personally liked RE5, but I know what you mean. Just another run-n-gun action game. I think the best "zombie" game thus far that Ive liked from recent memory is Dead Space, which has necromorphs as space-zombies

I think most the newer games have moved away from "zombies" so to speak. They are "infected" lol so you could argue not the undead, just unable to control their actions. I'd argue Res evil 4/5 arent the undead i'd argue people who are controlled by parasites lol. Which reminds me of the old film 'Invasion of the body snatchers' xD

Generally i much prefer the older zombie "undead" games. The old Resident evil games were so tense. I remember going through the game going "omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg i have one bullet left and the save room in down this hall... please be no zombies, please be no zombies, OH CRUD D= Run run run run" and so forth =p

I do like the newer games to a degree i mean i love playing Left 4 dead 1 and 2. I do wish more "undead" zombies games were around 2 cause i like playing both depending on my mood!
